In my very first post I had promised that if there is any topic that is taboo for me to write on The Introspective Introvert, then it would be politics. Not because I don’t have any opinion/s about current political happenings, but because I didn’t want my posts to be a virtual battleground. Because as the venerable George Bernard Shaw said, ‘Never wrestle with a pig. You both get dirty, but the pig likes it.’ Not that I am insinuating that there are any ‘pigs’ in my motley bunch of subscribers … but you get the drift.
That there are two sides to every coin goes without saying, Feroz. Point I was trying to make was that the statements still hold good 30 years later - given the quantum leaps we’ve made over that time, the problems we face should have undergone some changes too is what I felt.
These are just opinions or statements. Whether they are right or wrong, depends on which side of the fence the recipient is located. The other side is always wrong. When one learns to listen to the other side, things will be `better. To listen does not mean to agree or to accept.

Thanks for the birthday wishes.
