Don’t be so self-effacing - that’s a British trait! Your articles are always great whether you have been pressed for time or not.

I also love the movie trailers - is it wrong that I actually quite fancy watching them now???

Yes, not Indian but that’s also part of the appeal - I enjoy the window into a different cultural world. Definitely need subtitles for the trailers!

Oh, & my name is half pseudonymised (I’ll let you guess which half…)

Thanks much, Phil. (I am presuming Phil Le Bon is not your nom de plume)

Your words gave me a massive fillip. Much appreciate. You also happen to be the first to comment on the movie trailers. Thanks for that. I always fear that my posts are too long to hold the reader's attention all the way down till the Keep Watching section. Standard rule you could apply if you fancy watching them - anything below 3.5 stars rating is not worth it. I am not too sure you would enjoy the Hindi films / web series I review - once again presuming that you are not an Indian.

Your Ranting is apt and indeed my travel and living experiences are similar. We cannot blame everything on the fact that we are a developing nation with large population . It's more about the attitude and I do hope that it will change with next generation. Lovely ending with snippets of movies which I also feel gave away their best in the Trailers .

Thanks, Swapneel. Keeping fingers and everything crossable crossed in the hope that a fundamental change in the 'chalta hai' attitude that we are so known for comes through and changes to 'nahi chalega'.

Agree with all your points...especially for the monsoon season and for the Indian villages. Why can't they keep it simple and pretty like the villages in Europe and US. Whyyyyyyaaaaayyyyy?

I was hoping you would take my bait when I was writing about the monsoons. And you did. Hahahah ... I guess one of the many reasons we connected, and stayed connected, is our mutual aversion for monsoons in Mumbai/India.

Totally...btw i heard that the monsoons are again causing havoc in Mumbai.

Yep! Quite bad the last few days. They say they’re receding showers, but don’t think that’s the case.
